Mrs. Lescher’s Math Group: Measurement is what we are working on in second grade. If you have time try showing your child cups, pints, quarts, etc...and let them measure with water or help you cook with the units of measure. We are learning about perimeter and area. We are starting on multiplication!! Just a gentle suggestion.......try and start memorizing the multiplication facts this summer-they are a HUGE part of 3rd grade math.
